This year Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift are all nominated for Entertainment of the Year, but only one can win.

A brand new duet from Texan Aaron Watson & Elizabeth Cook called, “Leather & Lace”.  Yes THAT “Leather & Lace”.  The song originally written by Stevie Nicks for Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter to duet on their first album together back in 1981.  The song never actually appeared on the album, but Stevie went on to record the song with Don Henley and the song appeared on Stevie’s very famous album, “Bella Donna”.

Fast forward to present day and a new Texas love song compilation album, “Hearts Across Texas”, which will be available in stores on Feb. 7th.  I am a HUGE Stevie Nicks fan, and I definitely didn’t want anybody messing this song up.  I also love me some Aaron Watson, and placed a great amount of trust in his hands NOT to screw this up.  He and Elizabeth Cook did this song justice!  The knocked it out of the park in my opionion.  Now we need YOUR help.  Let us know what you think by listening to this song and voting.–Steve Rixx

Garth Brooks has been hanging out with his wife Trisha Yearwood in an Oklahoma court house lately. And today Garth Brooks has won a breach-of-contract lawsuit against an Oklahoma hospital that failed to construct a women’s health center in honor of his beloved mother, Coleen Brooks, who died of cancer in 1999.

Dear Diary,

I was sleeping so soundly last night…in fact, I slept so soundly I didn’t wake up at the normal time of 3:30AM. I woke up at 5AM. I hate being late, it throws everything off. I got in today at about 6…an hour after I usually kick things off. You know what was so surreal? Listening to the morning show from my car. The worst part is they sounded just fine…maybe they don’t need me:)
